CARE FOR THE GREENS AND GOLF COURSE

  • Ball marks made on putting greens must be repaired immediately. Divots taken by a player must be kicked in, then filled with sand (provided on your cart) to insure proper turf recovery. Cooperation in repairing ball marks and divots which may have been overlooked by other golfers is especially helpful.
  • After playing a stroke from a bunker, the player must carefully rake the bunker and place the rake outside the bunker parallel to the fairway or green.
  • In wet weather, golfers should clean mud off shoes before walking on greens. Mud drying on the putting surface causes a serious maintenance problem.
  • Golfers are requested to:
    • Pick up all tees to help prevent damage to mowing equipment.
    • Avoid walking where others have walked, so paths will not be worn.
    • Help maintain the course by not littering and by picking up litter others have left.
    • Do not drive golf carts under the trees where the fescue grass is located.

COURSE ATTIRE/DRESS CODE

To preserve an atmosphere of proper decorum, the following dress code applies to the use of our golf course:  Members, spouses, and junior golfers (8 years of age and older) using the golf course, short course, and all golf practice facilities must be properly attired.  Proper attire is defined as items that are similar to what is sold in the Golf Shop, excluding bathing suits, T-shirts and fitness apparel.  Men and juniors over the age of 8 are not allowed to wear T-Shirts, bathing attire, jeans, cargo shorts and athletic shorts.  Men and juniors must tuck in their shirts and wear their cap with the bill facing forward.  Ladies are allowed to wear T-Shirts, and may wear their blouse out.  Yoga or athletic pants are not permitted.
