Care for the Greens and Golf Course
Ball marks made on putting greens must be repaired immediately. Divots taken by a player on other parts of the course must be kicked in and filled with divot sand mix to ensure proper turf recovery. Repairing ball marks and divots left by other golfers is encouraged and appreciated.
After playing a stroke from a bunker, the player must carefully rake the bunker and place the rake outside the bunker parallel to the direction of the fairway.
In wet weather, golfers should clean mud off shoes before walking on greens, as dried mud causes serious maintenance problems.
Golfers are requested to pick up all tees to help prevent damage to mowing equipment, avoid walking where others have walked so paths will not be worn, and help maintain the course by not littering and by picking up litter others have left.
Course Attire / Dress Code
All players must wear attire appropriate for a family-oriented country club. Traditional golf shirts, slacks, skirts, and shorts may be worn. No denim may be worn. Golf shorts, skorts, and skirts may not be shorter than the length of a golfer’s outstretched fingertips when standing upright.
Men’s golf shirts must have a collar and be tucked in. Turtleneck and mock-neck collars must be at least one and one-half inches in height. Women may wear collarless golf-style shirts provided they have sleeves, and may wear sleeveless golf shirts provided they have a collar. Women’s golf shirts must not rise above the waistline, exposing bare skin at any time during the golf swing.
Golf shoes may not have metal spikes or be open-toed. Caps must be worn with the bill facing forward. Members are responsible for ensuring that their family members and guests comply with the Club’s golf dress code.
